Festival of Tables

WBC Women’s Ministry is hosting a “Festival of Tables” (also known as Tablescapes) fundraiser dinner for ladies on Saturday, April 11th at 4:00 in the fellowship hall. This fundraiser will go towards scholarships for attendees of the Women of Joy Conference in October, as well as to other women’s ministries in our area. Tickets for the meal and tour of the tables will be $20 adult women/$15 youth and will be available for purchase from the church office, as well as from ladies in the church foyer following Sunday services during the months of March and April. Along with enjoying a delicious meal and beautiful decorations, we will spend some time worshipping the Lord and hearing from one of our sisters who is involved in a local women’s ministry.
For the Festival of Tables, we need ladies to team up together to design and decorate a table in your chosen theme (examples: holidays, seasons, Bible stories, florals, tea party, sports, music, cinema, anything!). Use what you have, pool your resources, be on
the lookout for inspiration, show off your innovative and artistic gifts! Awards will be given for creativity and presentation. We are hoping to have 10-12 tables decorated, with each table seating 6. We will also need helping hands in the kitchen. This is not just a fundraiser—it is an opportunity for fun, fellowship, and (Church) family!
